I really enjoyed this book and it is innovative with using the
story of 50 Cent. The book is about being fearless to succeed.
50 Cent grew up in the streets of New York with little option
but to become a drug dealer. His mother was murdered when he was
only 8. He was also shot 9 times and nearly killed. However, he
overcame this and used his learning from the streets to become a
hugely successful rap artist and businessman.
The book explores how he got to where he is and also uses some
great examples of fearlessness from the historical world. Robert
Greene has written this very well.
If you have had a tough upbringing and want to use your
experiences positively to make the best out of yourself or you want
to look at how to overcome your fears to succeed then it's a great
read. Actually I would say if you like persnal development just buy
it! I read it and then went back and read it again
immediately!

John Regan is a movie and theatre actor, Director, inspirational
speaker, acting coach, author, musician and artist.
John Regan, Movie Actor, Inspirational Speaker,
Acting Coach, Author, Jazz Musician, Artist. I could keep going. I
met John several years ago on a speaking course. We quickly struck
up a rapport and I began to realize what a fascinating man he was.
He has been in 17 movies, including some very famous ones in his
early career like 'The Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines'
and 'The Heroes of Telemark' working with people like Richard
Burton and Sean Connery.
His latest movie is a horror called 'Spiderhole'
and he is playing the baddie! Which seems slightly in contrast to
the reality of him being such a nice, warm and inspirational
man.

John has a real rags to success story. He shares his
thoughts on personal development in this book 'Yes You Can'. If
you want to find out more about him personally check out the
recording to the 29th March 2010 interview I am doing with
John when it is loaded on the site.
A very positive insirational book. It has a number of good stories
and inspiration drawn from John's life and leading personal
development experts. If you drew on the thinking and applied it,
you would succeed.

I found this book very refreshing. If you are a business owner
there are some really good ideas in the book about designing your
business so that it delivers a great customer experience without
being intensely focused around you.
Tim Ferriss has set up successful businesses as well as having had
significant sporting success by not following conventional rules.
His inspiring story shows how you can achieve success by having
courage and confidence in yourself.

Tribes, by Seth Godin, is one of my favourite new releases.
Unusually written in a single chapter this book is about developing
tribes of like-minded people to deliver great results.
'There are tribes everywhere, all of them hungry for connection,
meaning and change. And yet, too many people ignore the opportunity
to lead, because they are "sheepwalking" their way through their
lives and work, too afraid to question whether their compliance is
doing them (or their company) any good.
This book is for those who don't want to be sheep and instead
have a desire to do fresh and exciting work. If you have a passion
for what you want to do and the drive to make it happen, there is a
tribe of fellow employees, or customers, or investors, or readers,
just waiting for you to connect them with each other and lead them
where they want to go'
Well worth a read I reckon.

A fabulous book for those who want to create wealth. It
contains some great content on how to become a millionaire
providing some excellent study material.
Cleverly in parallel is a poverty to success story which
brings the material to life. I almost didn't bother reading it.
However, was grateful that I did.
I love the enlightened principles in this book. Particularly
towards giving a % of your income away. You literally
give to receive.
A great book and as the price is a mere £6 as I write this it is a
bargain investment! Providing of course you apply some of the
material.

This is a fascinating book based on significant research. It
explains the psychology behind why people say 'yes' and includes
six universal principles and how to use them. It also helps us
understand why we may have allowed ourselves to have been tricked
into buying something we may not have wanted. In fact why sales has
in the past had a bad image.
Having read the book I decided to invite a kitchen company to
visit me to see if they changed their ways And yes they tried every
trick in the book. Rather than operating authentically and
professionally they were using the dark side of the principles. And
judging by the volume of negative comments posted on the web were
destroying their brand in the equation! Change your ways or there
will soon be an empty 'space' in the kitchen sector!

Trust, says Stephen M. R. Covey, is the very basis of the 21st
century's global economy, but its power is generally overlooked and
misunderstood. Covey shows you how to inspire immediate trust in
everyone you encounter - colleagues, constituents, the marketplace
- allowing you to forego the time-killing and energy-draining check
and balance bureaucracies that are so often relied upon in lieu of
actual trust. |

A book with some very neat principles in it. Like 'Always make
you future bigger than your past. A great principle to keep
yourself growing.
Also 'Always make your enjoyment greater than your effort'.
Creativity in all areas of your life being ultimately linked to
playfulness. I believe we must take the maximum enjoyment we can
out of every day. Though I must admit I do sometimes need to remind
myself of the fact!
I was not familiar with Dan Sullivan before I read this. I shall
now check him out. Plus read this book again shortly.

The Psycho-Cybernetics programme has helped millions of people
achieve life-changing goals. Newly updated to include recent
changes in our lives you will learn how to awaken your automatic
success mechanism and: how to de-hypnotize yourself from negative
beliefs, how to acquire the habit of happiness, how to have
confidence on demand, how to live more courageously.
Well that is what it says on the tin. Definately a very good read.
I have recommended this book to several of my coaching clients and
the feedback is always positive.
A great personal success starter.

This book has some deep thoughts within it. It is one of the
more spiritual books in my recommendations list.
If you are really into the 'law of attraction' the techniques in
this book are a great way to help you relax and really energise
yourself to move towards your goals.
Personally, I needed to have studied the level of personal
development that I have had to take this book seriously.
However out all of the meditative processes I have tried out I
think this is the best. Very quickly I can put myself into a
relaxed and motivated state.
Get a copy if you are open minded and want to feel energised
quickly.

Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
The must read personal development book. A book that has
influenced many successful people and one I choose to read
regularly. Napoleon Hill was a reporter who was given a great
opportunity by Andrew Carnegie the steel magnate to write a book on
success.
To do so he was given access to Andrews' personal address book
including some of the most famous people of his time. Henry Ford,
Thomas Edison, Dr Alexander Graham Bell to name a few. One of my
prize possessions is a beautiful limited edition of this book given
to me by my friend and mentor Helen Urwin.
An essential personal and business development read.

I found out about this book having subscribed to Mike Dooleys
TUT adventurers club daily emails. I have always found them
inspiring. Then I read the reviews on Amazon and a lot of people
really loved the book.
If you are looking for something inspiring. Also a book that is an
overview of getting your life on track this is a great read.
Personally I bought the CD's so I could listen while walking the
dog.
It comes across as very authentic and definitely a good addition
to your personal development book section. Get it, read it and
apply what is useful.

Trusted Mole, by Milos Stankovic.
This is a very different book to anything else on this site. I
have selected it because it took me into a world that I can hardly
imagine. A world that I would avoid at all costs. Why put it on 'Be
More Achieve More'? Because we all experience life's up's and
downs. However can you imagine being honoured with an MBE by the
Queen for great bravery in securing the release of UN hostages and
escape of families in danger in Sarajevo. And then being arrested
on suspicion of being a serb spy. Also can you imagine the horror
under which some people in the world sadly live. If you think life
is tough it is a positive reminder to us all of just how lucky many
of us are. For more information check out the link http://www.trustedmole.com/
Please note that the video contains some strong scenes from the
Balkan conflict.

Business Stripped Bare by Richard Branson. A Sunday Times
Bestseller.
An inspiration to us all. Richard has achieved so much. This book
is full of great entrepreneurial business thinking. It also for me
a wonderful example of 'enlightened wealth'. Check this book out
and notice how much good in the world he is doing. Notice where the
profits go from his transportation business. How Virgin is helping
those suffering from HIV and Aids. If you want to 'be more to
achieve more' then read about those people who have.

Why am I recommending this book? Am I bonkers?
This book comes into the "Parental Guidance" category! It also is
definitely not a traditional blueprint on how to successfully
develop your life. I am confident Ozzy and Sharon would
agree.
However, Ozzy has certainly achieved financial success, a very
warm family life and lots of media attention. He also had a great
impact on the quality of my hearing after one Castle Donnington
rock festival.
His story is at times appauling, hilarious, sometimes sad and also
honest. If you liked Ozzy or Black Sabbath it is a good read into a
different world. Being a rock fan I enjoyed it and was inspired by
how far some people will go to achieve their dreams. How you can be
a rebel and still meet the Queen and be applauded by a US
President!

Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell.
If you are analytical and like key messages to be backed up by
statistics then this book is a fascinating interpretation about
some of the factors that contribute to great success.
At the time of writing, this book is ranked number 124 in Amazon
sales and is generating some interestingly polarised reviews!
Read it and make up your own mind about his theory and
statistics of why some people achieve success.

This book is great value with a CD included in my
version.
Esther and Jerry Hicks are experts on the Law of Attraction. There
is alot of wisdom in here.
However, again like the 'One Command' this was material that I
personally wasn't ready for until I had opened my mind to more
spiritual messages. Coming from a very practical commercial world 5
years ago I may have dismissed what was being said.
What is also interesting is that Jerry claims to be downloading
this information from another source. This they call
'Abraham'.
You can either dismiss this as nonsense or open up and listen to
what I believe is great wisdom. Delivered from a very authentic
source. Wherever it comes from the universe or their intellect,
listen and learn!

'The Great Depression Ahead - How to Prosper in the Crash
Following The Greatest Boom in History' by Harry S.Dent If you are
interested in Economics or managing you own wealth. Or the scale of
the recession for business planning then this book is for you.
Harry is becoming my hero when it comes to understanding and
predicting the market place. Back in 1989 he predicted the scale
and timing of the current recession. He was the economist who
predicted the decline of Japan and someone who many at the time
ridiculed. Not now! He looks at the causes such as demographics and
not the effects. For anyone interested in business planning and
wealth I would recommend studying this.

"The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D Wattles. Again a book
I read regularly and have run several tele-seminars on. It is a
very thought provoking book about the accumulation of wealth. Its
style may seem strange as it was written at the turn of the 20th
century and is best studied in a tele-seminar group. If you are
interested in studying this within a group then click

This is a classic personal development book. It is claimed that
Bill Gates read this book and decided to leave college to set up
Microsoft.
This book is a fairly challenging read for someone new to personal
development. If you have read 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napolean
Hill and 'The Science of Getting Rich' by Wallace D. Wattles and
enjoyed them, this will be well you worth reading.
It was originally intended to be a monthly study programme.
Another classic that can be revisited many times.
I was recently approached by someone wanting me to market their
products on this site. They were giving away a free mp3 version of
this book and claiming it was worth £197. I was a bit uncomfortable
with that claim when the book is only £5.49 at Amazon! However, if
the Bill Gates story is true perhaps it is worth considerably
more!
