Why must you develop PERSISTENCE?

I have just sent out an email to my mailing list on developing PERSISTENCE.

Last night I was running a 'Think and Grow Rich' tele-seminar and we studied this subject. We all agreed that this was fundamental to success.

No one has never accumulated great wealth without first passing the persistence test.

    I saw a video clip on TED yesterday, in which Richard St John summarised 8 steps towards success and one of which was persistence. He describes it as overcoming the CRAP! meaning:
    Criticism
    Rejections
    Assholes
    Pressure
    If you have a passion or desire to do something of value then there will always be someone or something that will try to prevent you..why is that? Persistence is the only way through the aforementioned stuff that life throws at us.
