Milos Stankovic Bio
Born to Yugoslav and Scottish parents in Rhodesia, Milos Stankovic was raised in Britain speaking Serbo-Croatian and English. Educated in Latin and Greek, he went on to study Russian at Manchester University and in the USSR. From the outset he had a deep understanding of linguistics and of cultural differences between the West and East.
During the Cold War he joined Britain’s elite Paras - 20 years active service in Northern Ireland, Central America, Southern Africa, the Gulf and the Balkans. A specialist in psychological operations, he spent 3 years in the Bosnian war in various covert roles - partly described in his acclaimed book, Trusted Mole. For this work he was both decorated by the Queen and arrested on suspicion of being a spy.
He left the Army to clear his name. Working in the TV industry in the US and UK he retrained in depth psychology and coaching. He now applies his extensive expertise to branding individuals and businesses - a process he calls Full Spectrum Branding.

Acclaimed author, Milos Stankovic was an officer in Britain’s elite forces. With a background in linguistics and psychological operations (PsyOps) he spent the war in Bosnia bridging cultural divides between the warring factions and the UN. In dealing with the Bosnian Serbs he helped negotiate ceasefires, the release of hostages and was heavily involved in Schindler’s List, a covert operation to save stricken families in Sarajevo.
At journey's end he was decorated by the Queen for his work in Bosnia. A year later he was falsely accused of spying and arrested. His career and reputation in tatters, he began a ten-year fight back to clear his name. Resilience was the critical component of victory.
Founder of the Braveheart charity, he now applies his experience and expertise in PsyOps to branding businesses.
